Arrested Development ;_; and Borat and school work. Gr.

Tonight Last night I saw Borat. It was funny... and weird :P I don't know what else to say about it.

I spent a lot of time yesterday doing more footage of Lily and cleaning up a little bit. Annnnd of course, laundry. I went to the lab (which is now open from 3-9 on sundays! yay!) at 4 and worked until 8 on my project. I took about an hour and a half to get my film on the computer (meh - and it took a while for me to get started too, because the first computer I logged on was mysteriously missing Final Cut Pro.... and a bunch of other film editing related programs o.O)

I don't have too much left to do... I think! I hope :(

Now to eat and then talk to my camera so I can get my voice recorded so I can narrate my story! I really wish I had someone with the same voice as the Arrested Development narrator XD What a great narrator voice :)

(Speaking of Arrested Development, I saw an episode a few days ago that looked like it was shortly before they were cancelled (during the 3rd season - at least I thought it was the 3rd season, though I'm confused since it seems like the website hasn't been updated since the 3rd season started), where they advertised the saveourbluths.com website and mentioned how the "company" was going to be going out of business, etc. And the narrator kept saying "Please tell your friends." I felt SO BAD watching it :X It's a shame I didn't even know about the show really until it was cancelled...

Anyway, time to make sure I have everything together blah blah blah :X

Watching Arrested Development from around the middle of the 2nd season to the end is definitely bittersweet :(
They really ran with the company going under/show being canceled theme. I don't want to give anything away so I won't babble too much... But they wound up doing stuff like ask the Home Builders Organization for help, and Michael says something like 'Well maybe we're not worth saving. Maybe we're just not that likable' in one of the last episodes.

The thing that amazed me is that they managed to integrate what was happening behind the scenes into the plot of the show, and make it seem natural and believable... all on very short notice. The writers were just amazing.

I really liked that show, even though I only recently found out about it. I watch it on G4, and as I don't watch television often, that's big in my book. I didn't even know it was cancelled... lamesauce.

I want to see borat pretty badly, it's looks redonk.

Is Borat popular in the States? I just read an internet article on how people he tricked are angry with him. Would I like him? Is he nicer than Tom Green or Ally G?

He is popular here, though I hadn't heard of him until recently. Borat IS Ali G. I will admit though that while I didn't like the Ali G show, I did like Borat. The movie really looked into some of the more uh... flawed... things about America. Some stuff he did was just plain dumb or silly or insulting, but some was really funny and also made a good point. Everyone in New York was a complete asshole (so stereotypical but true- he would try to greet people in his "traditional" way and they would tell him "back the fuck off" and stuff like that haha). The first nice people he met were gay! Then he went down south, and omg :X when you can ask "what is the best weapon to kill a Jew" and someone answers you seriously? that just seems wrong...

Anyway... yeah! I did in the end find it funny, though I WAS going just because Chris was going and I thought I was going to hate it.

I THOUGHT he looked like Ali G! I dislike that guy a lot...but maybe I will see Borat. lol I found the stuff he did funny but in a very bad taste. lol So it's a like reality, huh. Heh thanks!
