so today since the movie channel is still being crappy, i didn't get to watch big fish with chris... instead we watched the first 2 episodes of those who hunt elves (which is much funnier than i remember!) and then helter skelter. we also got some diablo 2 playing in, and starcraft! it was a lot of fun... not a whole lot of either game because chris had to study but it was nice anyway :)

over the weekend we went to chris' house and saw chorus line, SO GOOD, just like last year had a really hard time remembering they are just high school students. haha and the director in it reminded me of robert a little :D;; from work. i think mostly his hair style and skin color, but his clothes too. anyway he just did.

i played some super metroid this weekend too (not a lot, enough to get super missles) during the times when i was waiting for stuff, wish i'd brought a book because i could have finished the dragon book! oh well though

soo... not much else to say, pjs and bed time i guess!

oh and happy birthday jared, but i already told you on the phone earlier with chris anyway :P

I'm in a great mood! I'm going to get cracking on my animation in a minute (I want it to be pretty much done by tomorrow, because tomorrow night is Rockapella, and I have art class until 4... so that's only a few hours to perfect what I have. SO, I need to pretty much get it done today. Which I'm worried about :D; but I'll do my best!

I skipped Japanese class today because I didn't feel like going, and instead stayed at work for another hour to make up for what happened yesterday. I helped Wendy make something in Microsoft Word (a template-ish thing for the cover letter for one of the projects that is being sent out in pdf) and called vendors for Susanne. After that, Chris and I went to lunch, then I went to comp sci 391!

We learned how to use Adobe Premiere (which by the way looks completely awesome and I want to do something interesting with it really badly), and our next project is going to be to make a trailer with the clips that they'll supply for us. We can also have a soundtrack thingy and can import mp3s and stuff :D so I may talk to Chris about using one of his songs. I don't really know what the "trailer" is going to be though, for what clips they are going to give us.

Then at the end, Tony (one of the Instructors) asked if he could pull me aside for a couple minutes and asked if I was thinking about TAing for the class next year (which means I'm getting an A so far, haha but I already knew that)!! Which I was hoping to do as one of my 300+ level courses and I think would be good experience to find out if I want to teach at all :D (especially since that is the easiest way to get a job in the field... most people have to wait quite some time before they finally get to do something related to computer graphics at all) So I'm really excited about that, I'll have to make sure it won't conflict with other classes first, but I told him I'd keep them posted. He said they're looking forward to it, so yay! It could be a really great learning experience, we'll see what happens :D I'll have to ask what that means in terms of workload and what I'll have to be doing. If anything, I'll get to know the CKC people more and maybe make my chances at landing a job at graduation a little higher.

Anyway, I'm really happy about that, I hope it all works out. Now I'm going to work on my animation!
