I was late for work today.

I wasn't on any trains that were involved in the accident (thank god) but my train was delayed at Kenmore where I eventually was left off. There were shuttle buses running but there were TONS of people waiting for them already, so I walked to work. Didn't take very long luckily :) It looks like no one was seriously hurt at least, which is good.

Oh man, suck! I am glad you weren't hurt though and that in general there seemed to be only minor injuries. That would have scared the crap out of me!

It is somewhat of a nightmare of mine to be on a train when it gets in an accident. So far I have seen one train derailed (AFTER it derailed, not during it haha) and have seen delays because of 2 accidents (one in which a truck was driving across the street through a red light and a train drove into it [I don't think anyone was SERIOUSLY hurt] and this one)

When I was on an airplane once, our plane almost crashed into another plane ON THE RUNWAY while going only like 20mph. I am not exactly sure how this happened but the pilot had to slam on the brakes.

One of my biggest fears is going the wrong way down an onramp/offramp. It would be hard to actually *do* but I actually have a random recurring nightmare about that. Blarrrgh.
