random stuff!

ayashiI'm on Chris' laptop right now and enjoying some interesting adventures trying to type with the keyboard. i discovered yesterday that my Wild ARMs cd was missing, and recalled that I had used it to listen to music during my break on thursday. apparently i left it in the cd-rom drive! I'm awesome. i tried to call last night but i happened to try calling about 10 minutes after it closed.
called again this morning, but no one answered either time. finally we just went there and WHOO! i walked in, opened the cd-drive, and it was still there. that made me very happy.
last night roxy and jared came over and we played some warcraft 3 board game. it was fun! we'll play again sometime, roxy wanted to today but we are working on the flash game. except for me because jared is on my computer right now. after chris comes onto the laptop to work on the server code i'm going to do some of the actionscript for the battles.
today was a game party but chris and i only went for a short while. i was there even shorter because i had to go to a reading for creative writing. it actually was a panel and the authors there talked about american vs. british poetry.
in world of warcraft, i respecced to beast mastery as my main instead of marksmenship. so now i am 31/20/0 instead of 8/43/0. i noticed a pretty significant increase in my dps, which may be partially because of new gear and partially because of other stuff, but my dps is around 103 now instead of what i observed before, which was much less. now sure what caused this, especially since i'm wearing my stamina gear instead of my dps gear??? but whatever. my pet dps has increased too, so it is usually about 30, making my overall dps about 130 with my pet. anyways, i'm loving beast mastery for pvp. i do much better solo pvp versus another person because now i can heal myself. i beat kotton a lot in duels which was fun :) he would have done a lot better but he was too lazy to go get more crippling poison, so since he wasn't doing that i decided to stop doing ice trap at the beginning of fights.
in "real" pvp i think i will do better as well. i was attacked twice last night while i was by myself, and died the first time because i just didn't have enough time to react. then i was attacked a second time and i would have won! but while i was fighting the first rogue, another one attacked me >_< really dumb and annoying. but the first rogue vanished, so he got zero honor points, so HA!
anyways the only dps i have sacrificed is the 5% ranged specialization, but i think my pet's higher dps makes up for that... and just a couple of small increases to certain spells. i'm really happy with my new build... so yay.
my mage is also level 40 now, and looks awesome :) yay. she also has a pretty pinto which i borrowed 50g from mimus for. i just got the money to pay him back today.
anyways. blah blah blah i have nothing to talk about our flash game is cool!
