ayashisoooo, I was all nervous this morning about not getting to creative writing on time, since I had to print out a poem and a story by two classmates and then go to the library to try to find a book with the story that we had to read for today in it. It's "Cathedral" by Raymond Carver. Anyway the first book I found had interpretations of Cathedral, but not the actual STORY. The next book I found was the same thing. Then the next three or four were all collections of his stories and poems but did NOT have Cathedral in them. Finally the last book that I didn't look at magically had it within (yay!). So I rushed to class and I was 5-7 minutes late.
However, being late didn't matter at all since the teacher wasn't there yet. Some of the class left around 9:55 (the class was supposed to start at 9:30) and I finally left around 10:10 or so. So much for being so worried about being late! I was kind of worried for the teacher but I got an email from him when I arrived in the lab, his car broke down on the way so he couldn't make it to class. Luckily the homework has stayed the same for next tuesday so I have nothing new to do :D
Now I'm here at the lab. I worked on my animation for my indepedant study for a bit and downloaded a pdf for a standard storyboard layout, so I can do my storyboard for the whole animation over the weekend if I am lucky.
As for World of Warcraft, we tried to do a Stratholme raid run and 3 of the members ditched us because "no one was listening", though I thought we had been doing fine, and most people were indeed listening. Sooo they're blacklisted for making a horrible excuse to leave a raid in the middle of an instance >:( We would have been perfectly fine, but two members of the raid were dropped out because the game was being crappy :/ and then a runner got away (1% health, it got out of my line of sight, and ran into another group of elites. I was pissed.) and the group wiped.
Anyway, I was too angry to play anymore and it didn't matter because the game decided to crap out and probably crash eventually. None of us could enter the instance again, yay! So I logged out and after it finally did log me out, much, much later, Chris and I watched a couple of episodes of Arrested Development and then played some Tekken 5 with Rich. I did pretty well I think, I need to learn some new and different juggles with Asuka. The one that I do know (->2,<-2,1,3,->2) is pretty good :D but I would like to know more, since that's my only really solid one and Rich blocks the launcher almost every time.
I've left this window open for a while and haven't added anything else, so I guess I'll post this now.

Date: 2005-03-07 02:01 am (UTC)the ->2 launcher does have a big recovery time compared to her other moves, though there are many which have worse, I think. Though, I think the 2 launcher can be used for the same combo (I always do ->2 and I think I don't have to) and just doesn't launch as high, with better recovery. Not 100% positive on that though...
