ayashi | saw kate before she returns to rpi, and girl with a pearl earring

Today wasn't so bad. Got up, went to work, found out I wasn't supposed to be there but it's okay because she just switched thursday's hours with monday's. Also, Courtney I guess didn't mention to Bonnie that she was supposed to work in the morning, so Melissa called her and yeah... so it was actually good I came in this morning :)

It got HECTIC around 2 though when I was supposed to leave. I made a note that I was supposed to leave like 15 minutes before I had to go for the bus, then I got a huge sale (over $600 worth of items) which was good, but the lady's two daughters were jumping up and down on the bed (which none of us saw because there's an obstruction between the cash wrap and the bed) which caused the print leaning up against the headboard of the bed to fall forward ALMOST on top of this little 2 or 3 year old girl who was terrified. So, that scared me to death and between that and finishing the two phone things I had to do and everything (luckily no one was hurt) suddenly I looked up, Allison was at work, and it was 2:05 :( I was like, oh, lovely! I missed the bus T_T So I finished up doing some more stuff and I was all annoyed because Kate was supposed to come over and I wasn't going to be there, but I caught her just before 2:30 and told her, and Bonnie got out of work at 3 so she drove me home which was nice of her...

Anyway, got home... we played some games. Wanted to play some Mario Kart but couldn't because we only have one gamecube controller :( (and as Jared says, my house is like a 3rd world country when it comes to gamecube controllers) so instead we played some mario party 3 on the 64 which was actually really good! Then started a game of four swords (didn't save anything though, and the storm ended the game later anyway, but I only played for a few minutes and then mom got home and drove me to CVS) which seems like it'll be totally cool with 4 players. Mostly I played the shadow mode or whatever, which is basically just a duel between the players. Can't wait to play that at college with I assume Rich and Chris (and one more mysterious person perhaps)

Then we watched Girl with a Pearl Earring, which I've been wanting to see for a while. I think Chris watched it with his mom over winter break or something? I'm not sure, I know he saw it at any rate. So I watched it with Kate and Erin (and for the last 30 minutes or so, dad too :P) and I enjoyed it... fit dinner in the middle of the movie, Kate left after the movie was over... yep, that's about all I guess!

Also my uncle might give me like ALL his old pots/pans (this is what dad thinks is happening, I haven't heard it from Richie directly) and buying himself a new set o_o which would be absolutly awesome... but we'll see! I'm going to see him this weekend. He's giving me: a coffee table (in case we need one / it fits, which I hope it does), a floor lamp, two desk lamps, and then the misc pots/pans whatever :D so yay... really happy about that, can't wait to see it.

Slightly annoyed because a doctor's appointment of mine was pushed back to whenever. I need to call and reschedule, since the lady is out for the rest of the week. :/ probably something serious, so I feel a little bad about it, but frustrated that I probably won't get to have it for another month or more (since I'll be back at college next month :/) oh well, i'm happy and yay, stuff.
