Hahaha, I am dying here. This would almost be hilarious if it wasn't so annoying!

I bought a camera from Best Buy this morning. It was perfect. However, they didn't have any new ones, only one that had been returned but had no missing parts and wasn't damaged. I was already annoyed that I don't get a direct discount for buying an open package - I get a gift card that I get to spend later, wtf? Anyway, I got home, I open it up, test it out, record a couple of things... I decided to hook it up to my computer so that I can see what the sound quality and stuff is.

I open up the software cd case (since it didn't work right when I plugged it in - kind of assumed it wouldn't anyway) and it is EMPTY! :D YAY

God I'm so pissed right now :( I went to the Sony website and they don't even offer it for download. It costs $30. Hell no :/

Now that's over $800 spent on cameras that I can't even use. This one is going to be returned today, at least. We are going to go to Holyoke probably to buy another one. I'm tempted to just bring my laptop so that if that one is screwed up too, I'll know it before I get back home -_-

Would you really have an issue finding a different avenue to get the software? I'd say you're entitled to it at this point.

Best Buy sucks.

I've had nothing but back luck buying from them, for one reason or another. Buying equipment, anyway...
