Real life stuff~ today was fun :D mom and dad came over around 4:30 and Chris and I went to Holy Smokes with them, Tony, and Jared :D It was super tasty! Regrettably they were out of pulled pork :( but the pulled beef was still super delicious.

I played WoW and The Sims a lot today. I bought the Open for Business pack :D I do like it but I haven't had much time to experiment. I thought my second generation Legacy family sims were going to die together in the photo booth because it bugged and they were both stuck inside slowly starving to death :( but I used the move_objects cheat to delete the photo booth, and the two of them magically appeared in the middle of the house :D so yay!

I've also been reading the Lemony Snicket boots since I bought the last pack of 3 books the other day :) I just started The Grim Grotto. I love these books SO much but I wish they weren't all so short! The books are very expensive and if they were not as good as they are there is no way I'd pay as much for so little content :P the pages are thick, the text size is large, books just aren't very long :(

I don't know what else to write about D: things have been pretty boring. Chris is programming a lot and every time I try to tell him something I get those blank replies where I know he has no idea what I'm saying :P

At the very least I have nothing halfway interesting to say about how things have been, so I am going to end the post with some WoW crap.

WoW stuff~ Shaeldre still doesn't have her 45-minute baron done, but we haven't been able to do it in a while anyway. Hixxy is often leveling her warlock on Akama or working, so I don't know when I will finish it ^^; for now I am going to continue the chain a bit on my mage! She is 7/8 Magister's right now (missing robes still!) and just needs 6 more ogre beads to keep going :D I'm very excited to upgrade her boots/legs/shoulders, although I'm not sure I'll wear the shoulders (depends if the set bonus overrules wearing Thuzadin Mantle or not).

I went to my first MC on my druid and got pissed off because every time one of my heals landed, someone ELSE'S heal landed about .1 seconds earlier so I couldn't cancel and I overhealed for 1000! AU doesn't have a very organized method of healing though like Astrum does, which I think is part of the problem. We just heal whoever whenever whereever, whereas Astrum has you heal group members, then focus on the two groups around your own, so you don't need to stare at 40 names all the time.

I'm very excited for the new 25-man raid cap for instances. It'll make things much more manageable (maybe DotA can do it by then :D) and I very much enjoy the feel of the smaller instances (I do not like ZG but AQ-20 is REALLY fun up until post-Moam trash mobs).


CERES FINALLY GOT HER DRAGONSTALKER LEGS YAYYAYYYAY!

They dropped in today's MC run <333 I'm so happy! Now Ceres is 100% done with MC. I secretly want a Crown of Descruction but last time I bid on them a pally outbid me, so I'm not really sure I feel like going for it again :P




My druid is now part deer :D




....is this allowed? D: This is by far the biggest crit ANY of my characters have had, and it was a sweeping strikes execute XD


As opposed to the Titanic Leggings, Shaeldre is wearing the Titanic Skirt! :P

I really really enjoy the Lemony Snicket books. Before Adam and I got married we had to spend 6 months on opposite sides of the country (yeah that sucked a lot) and we'd buy the books and read them over the phone hehe. That was the one time that them being so short was actually a good thing :)

Oh wow, that must have sucked :( I could barely stand summers between college (before Chris and I got an apartment together), and he only lived a little over an hour away!

That's really cute though, reading them over the phone :D

I can't wait for the last book! I'm not finished with the two books I have now, but I'm still very much looking forward to it :)

I am stoked for the smaller instance cap. I really enjoy smaller raids; partly because my computer hates large ones, and partially because they are just easier to organize people for. Also the thing about large raids is that classes are forced into certain specs and playstyles and there's just too much "tank and spank". In places like Stratholme and Scholomance, you can honestly make use of every spec for every class, and that makes them more fun, IMHO.

I just got my troll rogue to 60 last night, and I am a die hard fan of daggers and subtlety, but all my rogue friends in my main guild are combat spec and ALL THEY EVER DO is spam the sinister strike button in raids. Rogues have so many cool talents that they can't bloody use on big raids, it drives me nuts. I'm sure it is the same way for other classes. My favorite part of playing a rogue is stunlocks and backstabs, and of course every bloody thing in 40 man instances is immune to stuns, except some random trash and certain encounters like Battleguard Sartura in AQ40.

As for healing as a druid in instances, I know how you feel. Most people don't believe this but for the year I was full resto I used regrowth as my main heal (this was before you could shorten the length of healing touch, also) and I did great. When I went feral, every one of my freaking Healing Touch heals would just be some ridiculous overheal. So even though I want to heal sometimes as feral, it's frustrating and all I do is overheal and am pretty much made to feel useless. Blah.

I heart Speedy, he's one of my favorite non combat pets because he has this deleriously happy look on his face. XD
