Aegis Order downs Ragnaros

ayashiTonight the Aegis Order on the Mannoroth server killed Ragnaros for the first time ever. 29% before he submerged for the first Sons.

Thursday night, I received my Ancient Petrified Leaf! Screenies of some of the demons below the cut (I was way too excited and missed some :/) Also screenshots of Ragnaros!
How cool is this mount? This is the first time I've seen it. Yes, that's an Orc.
Summary: I received the Hunter Epic quest thursday night. None of the demons were up. Friday morning they were, and I worked between 9am and 12pm with my boyfriend (a druid) as my only buffer. I killed all 4 of them. However I do not yet have the Black Dragon Sinew required to make the bow, and Onyxia was stingy (as she ALWAYS IS when I'm present) and didn't drop it. After two days of farming, my guild downed Ragnaros for the first time. I <3 my guild.
I very much regret not taking more screenshots while fighting the demons. However I was soo excited I didn't really think about it :(
It finally dropped thursday night. I was given it per the loot system that we had devised. :) I ran myself down to Felwood and got the quest to kill the demons.
I also got my quiver. (I had gotten the blue dragon sinew on a semi-pickup run with the guild Macabre a few weeks ago.) Unfortunately that same night other hunters were doing them too apparently. We watched the Burning Steppes demon despawn, saw a horde hunter down the Winterspring demon, and Silithus and Un'goro Crater were not up. I was very sad and vowed to return in the morning. I logged out in Winterspring.
The next morning at 9AM I woke up ready to check on the demon. I rode around on my epic mount searching, searching. Finally, I spotted him! I woke up my boyfriend (Kelsin, level 60 druid) to come help me out. He logged on... and so began my attempts. My first few tries were a little sloppy... sometimes I forgot to use aspect of the cheetah, sometimes I simply just was too slow and didn't do my jump-shots right. Finally the last attempt came, I had figured that running to the road and then running south toward Everlook would be the best bet. I got in range of his mind control spell... a killer, especially if you are in aspect of the cheetah. He cast... and I owned him with my full resist of it >:) I started south on the road, a couple more shots and stings, and he was dead.
First demon down.
Checked out Burning Steppes, it wasn't up. Went to Un'goro Crater, and there Simone was. I decided to do a dry run (I had some greater nature protection potions made for this encounter). I spawned the demon too close to Kelsin and he was one-shotted :D Oops! Sorry Kelsin :( After he came back to his body and ressed, I pulled Simone into a frost trap and started to kite her demon around the lake. Simone broke out of the trap, but she is very slow, so I easily outdistanced her. I killed the pet, then moved in on her.
I managed to beat her on my first attempt without potions :)
After Simone, I figured that Burning Steppes probably still wasn't up, plus my level 42 warrior friend really wanted to see a demon and I had "accidentally" killed Simone my first try :X sooo I decided to check out Silithus. I felt a little scared, not really ready (because I only had a Druid to buff me, no priest for fort or shadow protection).
I attempted him dry, got him to 50%~ and a scorpid aggroed to me ^_^; I tried to feign death to just start over nicely buuuuut the scorpid resisted my feign and I died. My second attempt on him I chugged one greater shadow protection pot, and that's all I needed :) I fully resisted 3 of his 800 damage fears. (My only shadow resist comes from my +5 resist all to cloak, my giantstalker leggings, and my dragonstalker helm).
I beat him... and died instantly afterward because of all the bugs XD I ran back to the body, looted the head... and then my friend arrived. I decided we would stick together because I really wanted him to see at least ONE of my demon fights.
We hearthed to Ironforge and made our way to the Burning Steppes (with my beloved Kelsin of course).
Went to Burning Steppes, camped his spawn point for half an hour... the funny part is when the level 60 12p mage ganked my warrior friend (while Kelsin was too far away) and then proceeded to kill me (while afk) with aoe. Unfortunately for him, I returned, ate one whipper root tuber, and killed him with 600 hp left... I bet he regretted wasting mana AoEing one person after that. Finally my demon popped up.
This demon took a few more tries... I had a tough time getting the timing done right for his enrages. He definitely 2-shot killed me, hitting me for around 2000 damage each time. After one of my failed attempts, the mage shows up again. Unfortunately for him, he wandered into the demon's aggro range and AoE'd or something, and proceeded to get himself killed (as well as Kelsin and Olaine *tear*). But it was funny anyway.
A guild mate suggested that Kelsin keep a 15 second timer to time the enrages. This worked quite well, and 2 attempts later I had it down. I got the demon to 1%... (during this time Olaine was watching in Ghost Form since he had died again at some point)
12p mage showed up again. He managed one fire blast on me (thank god it wasn't on the demon, I think I would have found him in his home and ripped him a new one), but I was full health. I killed the demon with my next attack, then Kelsin and I both proceeded to kill the mage.
All the demons were DONE! After chasing the mage halfway across the Burning Steppes to get my very annoyed kill, I returned and looted the head.
On the way out of the Steppes, Olaine died :( He spirit rez'd, headed back down to me, and a shaman attacked me. I started fighting back, and Olaine charges in with rez sickness at one of his totems... he died... but it was so courageous and cute :) Kelsin of course arrived, didn't get the heal off in time... :( but needless to say silly shammy died. But seriously, seeing a 42 warrior charge in at the level 60 shaman's totem... hehe.
I returned to Felwood and got this.
Unfortunately Onyxia SUCKS AT LIFE and didn't drop the Mature Black Dragon Sinew for me. I have to wait at least 5 more days before my next chance at it... no bow for me until then :(

To the right of him is a female NE hunter facing the other way as well. To the right of HER (she's actually a female too, the wife of one of the mage's in the guild) is myself, then to the right of me is Kelsin :) Right in front of me is a small Gnome Warlock.
