ayashiHad a pretty good weekend... friday we played WoW (ugh, hardly any progression in MC... we started around 8 and finished Magmadar at 12:30. MAGMADAR!).
Saturday played a little bit of WoW then around 2:00 went to Corey's apartment at Sugarloaf Estates for a BBQ ^_^ It was really fun! While waiting for others to arrive we watched some Family Guy, including The Family Guy Movie that I never knew existed. Pretty much more of the same, it felt like 3 episodes that only barely associated with one another :P
I met Tarik's girlfriend, Christina (I think that was her name anyway, though I'm not sure if that's how she spells it). She apparently plays WoW on the Lothar server, and she's a hunter (with a priest alt) :) Tarik is a warrior and we talked about Molten Core and tons of other little things. It was cool actually meeting another girl that plays WoW (rather than just talking to them online and whatnot, which of course is always great ^_^).
Also, there is a kitten in Corey + Natasha's apartment. Oh yes, a kitten. Named Kilala. Sooo CUTE! Just made me miss having pets at the apartment even more :( I can't wait to live in a place that allows pets. I miss them so much.
Anyway, we ate eventually, then others left to go see The Brothers Grimm (which I heard sucked) and Chris and I went home. We went to MC again (and accomplished nothing, we wiped 3 times at Gehennes... sigh). Then went to bed.
Sunday we cleaned up the apartment, did tons of laundry, and had MC later at night. MC wasn't too bad. We did Gehennes on our first try (got 35 people, had 40 by the end of the night), Garr on our 2nd try (we were doing really well... we had a priest running around OOC ressing people, then Ridaya's add who he was banishing just suddenly bolted, ran into the MIDDLE OF ALMOST ALL THE DPS AND HEALERS and blew up. I was owned along with at least 15 other people. That said, it was a wipe :P). Geddon took a while because Kieph and I were working on the pull. Messed it up a couple of times in lovely fashion, but we eventually got it down. Our first two tries, our tank died almost instantly. The first time healers just messed up, the second time he ran to where the melee were supposed to go if they were the bomb, Geddon started to hellfire, and he was out of range of all the healers... I guess he didn't realize that HE was not supposed to do that. The second time also, our "puller resser" priest forgot to res Kieph and I -_- but perhaps it was for the worse, all my EQ was about to break by then and if I had died one more time, I might have been in a bad place. Third try (the sucessful try) I was the bomb, I turned around to run to the wall, and to my right I see Leroac (a druid) drinking, and to my left I see a paladin. Shit. I tried to do my best to avoid killing either of them and somehow ended up killing Kieph, who I didn't see at all ^^; However I did avoid the two healers so it was okay :) Kieph's Blastershot Cannon broke... so he used a Primed Musket that he had happened to pick up XD it was incredible.
Giantstalker Bracers dropped last night. Kieph already had them and I was the lowest percent hunter, SOOO I would have won them by default except Sthric (it was his 2nd raid) won them because he didn't have any loot yet. Kind of annoyed me, not that much, but just a little. I would have been happy to have them but I would much prefer the breastplate or something over the bracers. That said our loot system is probably going to be getting a few tweaks so that things like that don't happen. It has happened with much more disasterous circumstances to people who cared a lot more than I did, over items that were a lot better.
