Yay, I finally got my two pins from Erin that I bought at Anime Boston <3 A Chocobo and moogle pin. They're so cute!
Also I have been reading Day of the Dragon in the Warcraft series. It's really really well, I would love it even if it wasn't a warcraft book. But what makes it even better is that it takes place in the same world as the game, of course. So I read about people or things and I'm like "Hey, I know him!" or "I've been there!" It's really awesome ^_^ I'm about halfway through it, and I have the other two parts of the trilogy waiting.
Work has been good so far... not much else to write about really. Erin and Jared were over this weekend, and we did a deadmines run with Ian. We did pretty well until the goblin boss on the boat pulled twice (once when he really shouldn't have, we were not that close :/) I was able to be out of combat both times (I'm the priest) but the second time I accidentally got too close to some other mobs because the boss was going to go kill Erin and I wanted to stay away from his mage-minion (because I didn't want to be hit by the random AOE it does). We got back inside and it had repopped :(
Last night Valefor largely joined STNY. A couple of people remained. So far it's been fun, though it's only been one night. I was able to do a guild run of an instance for the first time in a long time. It was Maraudon (I was on my mage). Chris, Ridaya, and a guild priest and rogue went along. We were tearing through it with Chris as the tank, and he was having fun because he *gasp* didn't have to be a healbot! We gave up halfway though because it was really late (1:30 or so) and 3 of us had work the following morning. We're gonna just do the teleport entrance next time to be able to get to the Princess ^_^ Start where we left off.
In non WoW-news, we also went to Roxy's going away party last weekend (though she isn't leaving for a few more weeks). It was fun, I met some new people and of course some of the people who were at her b-day party returned. One person that (I dunno how to spell his name, though it sounded like "Korik") was in my Japanese class was there which was cool, and of course Q and Brendan (-en?). We played Balderdash (actually I just watched, since I'd just played the game at Chris' birthday)
Anyway I've had this open for a while and haven't added anything :/ I'm gonna go take a shower soon, and I REALLY need to do laundry. A bunch of my shirts disappeared after I did the laundry last time I was home. I may have left an entire pile of clothes there :/
