yay. or not!
Jan. 18th, 2005 08:54 amSooo, baby Shaelyn got me sick while I was home! :( Day before yesterday I had a sore throat, yesterday throat got worse and by the time I went to bed my temp had soared to 101.8. My skin and joints hurt all over, and I was freezing. I even stopped playing World of Warcraft early because I felt so horrible :P I rested from 10-midnight because I couldn't fall asleep, then slept pretty well until 8. Throat still hurts a lot today but my temp is way down and I feel a lot better. Giving it another day or two before I go to work, I don't want to get anyone there sick. I hate it enough that I can get Chris sick :( He had a sore throat but he is feeling better already, so luckily he didn't get anything nearly as bad as I did.
Anyway, going to try to go get something nice and hot to drink to make my throat feel better (for some reason all my cough drops disappeared??) and maybe play Suikoden 4 for a while. (Resident Evil 4 is way too scary to play by myself :P)
Oh and speaking of Resident Evil 4, that game is incredible. No more scary camera angles? It doesn't matter. That game is one of the scariest ones I've ever played. I had trouble getting through the second room. It is the creepiest thing in the world to hear them speaking in a foreign language, to hear them gang up on you, to alert ONE person and suddenly have the whole town coming down on you with knives and pitchforks and explosives. Not being able to strafe = really annoying, and scary, and not being able to see behind you is also really scary. Anyway, the changes they made to the game are incredible, they didn't change the atmosphere of the franchise at all with his new installment even though they did things very differently. Having new enemies is great, it creates an unknown factor so different from the other RE games. It's really refreshing having a "new enemy".
Anyways, I'm not very far into the game (only a couple of hours, and those couple of hours are probably a LOT longer than anyone else's couple of hours, since half the time I played the game I spent in frozen in place and being scared :P So no spoiling anything for me!
