Anyway, yesterday was fun, after classes/lunch Kendra came over :D We played some War3 while Chris worked with his project,then after that we played a War3 game together and then watched some Family Guy and stuff :) After Family Guy, Chris and Kendra ate cheese dip while we all watched the halloween episode of CSI Miami, which was pretty good :D After that pretty much we just talked for a little while, then Kendra left, so Chris and I played like 4 games of Warcraft III.
First game was really easy ^^; it was against newbies, apparently... it must have been. I didn't lose a SINGLE unit, and that wasn't becasue of my staggering micro :P it was because the only unit they ever focused was my Warden, and I just blinked her away when she was in trouble. I think Chris lost ONE grunt (while he was trying to run it away). We had constant harass on one of the human bases (it was vs. two humans, usually we do really well against human pairs). Anyway, the poor guy we were harassing constantly kept trying to build his farms in the same place, the farm would ALMOST FINISH and then we would get there and he would militia the peasant building, so the farm had 0 armor (instead of the armor it would have if he just finished building it, which would have taken like 1 more second) and we blew it away. This happened repeatedly ^^; the human never left his base because he was expecting our attack so much, and I noticed NO anti-air, so we came back, me with hippogryph riders, and it was over :) for some reason one of the humans got magic breaker guys even though we had no casters o_o Anyway, it was over ^^; I felt a little guilty for that one :)
The next game we lost T_T it was against two people who were obviously good. Two orcs (random) one who went grunts and one who went headhunters, they were good at keeping the hh out of the battle, and they attacked Chris and I lost a lot of my units and my hero :( we held them off for a while longer, and I got dryads, but it was too late, they had too much.
Next game was SCARY. It was against two human again. I wasn't really looking, but Chris was like, "Caitlin, towers!" and I looked and barely inside my field of vision (I didn't even see the color on the minimap) was a tower being built. I didn't have anything out yet, so I was nervous :( finally an archer came out and I had her try to focus the peasants but there were so many of them, so I had her focus on the towers being built while I built as many archers as I could and sent a wisp to go get my panda. Of course I was lame T_T and built one too many archers for my panda to come out and had accidentaly used my moon well wisp to get my panda --; so I killed one of my really red archers myself, got my panda, Chris was already there helping out. Panda with breath of fire finished the job, killing peasants and hurting towers :D Then they quit, ha!
Next game was against people our level, I think we just did really well with knowing when to leave a fight and everything. I used Blink quite well to save my Warden, and they were NE and orc and went huntress / hh. They weren't as good as keeping the hh out as the other people so we did pretty well :) Anyway, Chris and I have been improving a lot. Our micro has gotten a lot better, among other things :) Whoo, I love playing that game ^_^
