My weekend was pretty good! Saturday Chris and I went grocery shopping, then afterward we got ready to go to the LAN party that Hi Score was having. We played some Quake (well I didn't really, I installed UT2004 and Quake III, then by that time they were done playing Quake) and some Warcraft III ROC. After that, Chris and I went to Worcester to wait for Roxy and Paulo and Jared... waited like 10-15 minutes, then they all showed up, Roxy and Jared swiped some guest passes for us and I got some nice pizza (yay) and some pasta and ICE CREAM. So we all talked and ate there for a while, then Chris went back to the LAN party and I went to Roxy's dorm room with Roxy, Paulo, and Jared. Talked there for a while, then when Roxy went to set up her computer for Paulo to check his email or some such, I said goodbye and went back to the game party. Walked in on them playing some more UT2004 so I joined the game and caused my team to lose because I never played that mode before ^^; but then after that, it got a lot better and my team won next :D
After that I think Chris and I went out into the other room and played an AWESOME board game called Ricochet Robots which now I want really bad. It would be hard to explain, but it's great because there can be a large number of players :D Chris, Dan, and a kid whose name I didn't know all were tied at the end, then we went back and played some more War III ROC, then switched to Frozen Throne. I had a lot of fun, it was a slow night because it was the night before Halloween and a saturday, so a lot of kids who would be doing night celebrating were doing it that night of course. But people there were really nice, and one of the guys there (Dan I believe was his name) is in our clan for Warcraft III, we've never met him :) He's a friend of Brian and Mike.
Anyway, packing up computers and bringing them out to the car took FOREVER. Chris had to walk them to Worcester because all the 15 minute loading spots near Lederle were full of people parking there a lot longer than 15 minutes, so while I waited with our stuff he took things out one at a time. Also watched Josh's stuff while he went to try to find a closer space, which he didn't find unfortunately, but anyway we all got out around 12:15 and went back home, Chris had trouble with the internet and was up for a long time fixing it, and I fell asleep about 15 minutes before he decided to go to sleep at 2:30.
Woke up at 7:30 (x_x) to get ready to meet Roxy/Jared/Paulo to eat breakfast at Franklin. Jared swiped guest meals for us and I had a nice toasted bagel and some chocolate milk :D Then we went for a walk around campus and then got in Chris' car and drove to Amherst and walked around there. Paulo, you're so quiet! I tried to think of things to include you in the conversation as much as I could, I'm sorry if you felt left out :(
It was cool getting to finally meet Paulo though, and then we left Amherst, dropped off Jared at his dorm, and brought Roxy and Paulo back to her dorm so they could pick up his stuff and go to the bus. Chris and I headed back to the apartment. I felt tired and crappy and wanted to go to sleep, we had lunch and finished season one of twin peaks (omg the ending, so much stuff going on, I can't wait to see the next episode!! which won't be for a long time since the second one isn't out on dvd yet), then I played some of The Sims: Bustin' Out, and was tired, and anyway eventually Chris went out to clean the kitchen so I cleaned our room, and now it's really nice and clean in here :D
Anyway, Chris is doing the readings for Violence, I guess I should go take a shower so I'm ready when he's done to just read them myself!
Happy because my 3D modeling project is due tomorrow night, but all I have to do is finish the geometry of her head and add in her ear, then do all the facial poses which should be really easy and quick. Anyway, time to take a shower now!
