idiots

Ugh. I hate people who ruin my campus' reputation even more just because the red sox won. fine, they won, whoo. but that doesn't mean you all have to go down and burn things and generally be horribly idiotic. i hope a lot of people got arrested last night, and i hope a lot of them are getting expelled. i'm glad i don't live on campus anymore, it was probably horribly noisy for quite a while... guess i'll read more in the paper today! most of the info i know now is just from people talking on the umass_amherst community.

Kris from Violence in American Culture was funny yesterday. She's an RA and I guess one of her residents was at the riot the night before last (oh nos the red sox won we have to riot riot riot, because southwest has to have riots if the red sox win!!111 sarcasm) and got hit with a bottle of some sort and was complaining to her and she just said "Good, I wish you got arrested!". The tone of voice she said it in was pretty funny...

Anyway time to have breakfast. I wish it was friday.

now, now don't give storts fans a bad name. most of them are just violent idiots who couldn't really give a shit about the red sox and yankees, not like real fans like me. all i did was high five, shake hands and hug my fellow sox fans.
