ayashiSooo just now I got the time to post. REALLY enjoyed this "weekend" (more like a week). Left tuesday... obviously. x_x And wednesday... um... I think we stayed in all day? I watched Cube which is a great movie, I REALLY enjoyed it. And I had Resident Evil movie flashbacks from the laser scene, only this was like a metal grate... yeah. It was gross :D I think they showed a lot more in Cube though than they did in the RE movie. But I really liked the movie anyway.
Other than that I played some Resident Evil, Chris played some Final Fantasy X... and... Wednesday is kind of a blur to me, it happened a while ago. But anyway after dinner we went to Chris' best friend Alex's house and played Smash Bros. there (for gamecube) and I love that game XD and Alex is INSANE at it. We did 3v1 against him in the... um... mode where you are given actual lives, no time limit, and he almost won x_X It was Chris, Chris B. (one of Chris' friends) and me against Alex and he killed Chris, got me down to one life, and got Chris B. down to like 3 lives, and we started at 8. He'd probably have won except for a suicide or two he accidentally did.
Which is completely insane. NO ONE should win a battle when they are the only person against 3 others.
Anyway after that Alex showed Chris and I Mario Sunshine (during which Alex kept being like "Caitlin are you bored?" etc. XD I don't think he quite understood at that point... :P) and... then we watched Pumpkin. Which was almost a good movie. Except like 30-45 minutes away from the end the first director got likes stabbed to death in the bathroom because the movie suddenly took a TOTALLY horrible turn. The movie seemed serious and I was actually LIKING it, and all of a sudden there's this random sex scene that was misplaced (and the music was horrible) and then a random fight scene that was completely stupid, and the movie got to the point of no return when a car went off a cliff and exploded. FOR NO REASON. And then you see the occupant of the car in the hospital the next day. Paralyzed. But... no burns. Anywhere. Not to mention that he should have been dead if he was in the exploding car... but whatever.
It really made me mad because that movie could have been good. -_-
So Thursday was Thanksgiving... um... maybe we watched Cube on Thanksgiving? I honestly can't remember. But anyway sometime that night we ate (I love my short term memory, I give it 5/5 stars) and it was good and that's all I can really remember about that day. x_x How I can remember so much about how I HATED the turn that movie made and so little about an entire day is really beyond me. I don't know. [OH YEAH... added on later!: In the morning we went to the Thanksgiving football game at Chris' old high school and I met a bunch of his friends there]
Friday... well I can't remember the morning that well, was probably tired, but around noon I went with Chris and his dad to his dad's office and we got pictures taken :D some of me, some of chris, some of me and chris, and then when the rest of Chris' family got there they got pictures of the whole family. Then we went on the computer for a little while and left around like 3:30 or so... and the ride home was REALLY icy, plus there were a lot of cars on the road. I remember being really hungry. It was weird because I would eat there until I was extremely full and then like half an hour later I was starving again. That makes perfect sense. Of course. We were going to go to Meredith's house and then Alex's that night but roads were icy etc. so we didn't.
Saturday was...yesterday. Right. So I played Resident Evil for a while etc. I think either saturday or friday Chris rediscovered his Nintendo (not technically rediscovered because he did know he had it but we actually played it) and Chris got to LEVEL 20 in clay shooting in duck hunt on his first try at it, but it sucked because we don't know if that was the last level or not :( he needed to hit ALL of the clay disks and that was one of the few times where he missed one... and it happened to be the last. one. of the 10 he needed to get to pass the level. Oh well I guess :| So then I saw his friend Greg's car and dear GOD that car is insane. It has a dragon painted on it and the dragon actually looks really cool, but the car is so... loud... XD also he installed like these speakers in the back and he has blue lights on the inside and... god. o_o Played games a little longer, then went to the mall nearby where Chris lives and bought something for Chris B for his surprise birthday party and picked up Alex on the way, and had a REALLY interesting experience in the parking lot which I don't really feel like getting into because it would be a new paragraph all in itself. But it was one of those instances where so many hoaxes make you wonder if the person really was telling the truth... I think this guy was though. Or he was a good actor.
Anyway. So I saw one of the limited edition Blink 182 cds there and didn't get it. It was eight dollars used and I didn't get it. And I happen to REALLY LIKE that cd. But oh well, I'll just have to kick myself over it for a while and try to forget about it.
And then Chris B.'s surprise party. It went well, except he wasn't really that surprised XD he had been a bit suspicious beforehand etc for reasons I won't get into. But it was fun, Steph reminds me of Kendra SO much it's incredible. Played a game of pool with Chris, played bullshit with Alex K, Virginia, Steph, and... I forget her name... the Indian girl x_x and lost miserably (when it went down to two people we just stopped playing, Virginia won first) and Chris played his guitar for a while :D and people played with hoola hoops which was amusing... and Virginia is a great artist, I was incredibly impressed.
This morning (yesterday morning technically I guess) I woke up with a blister on my lip :( it looks like a cold sore but no one I talk to who actually listens to what I have to say thinks it IS a cold sore, so I'm going to put antibiotics on it and if that works... then obviously it is not a cold sore. Mom thinks I have sensitive skin etc etc but next time I'm at home and I get one I will go to the doctor to get tested. Which sucks horribly, but oh well. I BEAT RESIDENT EVIL for the gamecube today~ got the best ending~ :D And said bye to Chris' family and his mom drove us back to UMass and we stopped by CVS and I bought some stuff for my lip (putting antibiotic stuff on it tonight, used the stuff I bought during the day) and Chris' mom lent me some money to cover the tax since I had 8 dollars and the medicine without tax was 7.99. Thank you!!
So we got back to the dorm, I dropped off some of my stuff back here, we went to the library to do research for papers.. I felt SO sick while I was there, it was horrible. :( But I feel better now, it might have been mixture of feeling sick because of perpetual pain on my lip plus hunger, which is ridiculous since I ate before I left but whatever. So we came back to the dorm after we were done researching, ate, then while Chris played Mario 64 I wrote my paper on his computer and stopped at random times to hug him and then went back to my paper.
Yeah, I'm really strange ._.
So now that it's almost 2 and I'm completely exhausted I should be going to sleep. Going to wake up at 8 I guess, have work to do tomorrow morning unfortunately. Only twelve more days until classes are over though!! I can't wait!
Augh, I have to study for that Psych test! Must start studying EARLY so I get an A, I need a 100 on that test or I'll be really sad :(
I'm probably forgetting some big things about this weekend that take up those large chunks of my days that I forgot, but I'm really tired so... oh well. Good NIGHT! :D
Won't be able to read 5 days of friends entries, I just skimmed a couple of journals and that's about it. Off to bed now :D
