ayashiOMG, orientation was so much fun! :D I'm so excited about college right now ^___^ I'm actually glad I didn't go with any of my friends o_o because then I wouldn't... (insert 1 hour random break to call and talk to Roxy :P) ...have hung out with anyone there, I would have just stuck with my local friends ^^; Um, sorry guys ^^;; I love you, but I need friends there too otherwise I'll be lonely ;_; at least I'll be rooming with Rokushi-chan though :P UNLESS THE HOUSING PEOPLE ARE MEAN. But hopefully they won't be -_-;;; BUT ANYWAY. I'm going to write those really boring day by day things that no one ever wants to read :P That'll be under lj-cut, and the short version will be in the next paragraph. If you want (! o_O) to read the long version, don't read the next paragraph because it's repetition.

Unless I enter a math intensiveish things -_- And that's about it :P there's more I forget oh well.
Wai wai :D First night I got there and met my roommate whose name... I can't... remember... T___T she only told me once though, okay? ;.; I think it was... Michelle? An "M" name anyway -_-;; SO ANYWAY. She was one of the more popular-seeming people, but what I thought was interesting is it's because she really does like things like that, she's not just following the crowd. She seems like a pretty sensible person o_o; I ended up talking to her for like an hour and a half both nights I was there :P
So then we had a floor meeting, big deal, and then a small group meeting. I thought I did something wrong (that's always the first reaction when EVERYONE ELSE is going to another residence hall, and you're supposed to only go up two floors in the one you're already in...) but when I got there (went to my room first) I DID see someone in my group that was already there ^^; Her name was Nicole ^^ So I sat down next to her and 11 people later we had our small group meeting. Blahblahblah, then we did schedule work and then I went to my room and (eventually) fell asleep.
Next morning my roommate had the early wake-up thing. I half-woke up and was half-sleeping until someone came in to get me. It was weird because I just got up, no "aw crap I want to lie down again" and just got ready o.o Uh, so I went down to breakfast and got breakfast and didn't know anyone so I sat down alone :X and like a minute later I saw Nicole and waved to her and about five seconds later she motioned for me to sit with her, so I did :P Sooo we talked and ate breakfast then went downstairs to wait for someone to escort us to Hasbrouke?? whatever x.x;;; hall to take our math tests.
No one came -_-
Like 10 minutes before the test we took action and went outselves with about 15 other kids. We arrive probably less than a minute after the test was supposed to have started. They act like we were 10 minutes late and were all snotty and annoying about it :F but the math test went well because I have NO R1 REQUIREMENT! YAY EXEMPT! Then I took the Spanish one -_- got what I expected. Placed in Spanish TWO X_X Intensive, but still ;.; TOO BAD I ALREADY HAVE FOUR YEARS, SO I'M EXEMPT XP but I'm taking a language anyway, what the hell? SO THEN I realized I accidentally handed in my yellow packet (that's our identification that we're supposed to "live and die by") during the math exam -___- BUT I got it back. After Nicole convinced me to go back in and get it while she waited for me. 'Cause I thought I lost it earlier but YAY I got it back XD So I worshipped her for about five seconds :P
Went to a music and dance session with (big shocker) Nicole, since she's a music major and is interested anyway :P After that we walked to lunch, and I think?? on the way there I found out she likes Dashboard confessional and punk and ska and stuff XD and yeah. We got our UCard (those are the IDs) pictures taken and then waited in a lunch line for ages and got lunch, and she like Zim~ XD and Fantasy books :D AND of course she's in the band and wanted to do the marching band. I REALLY wanted to but I can't go -___- you have to leave a week and a half early and I won't have the time. PLUS I'd miss fencing and that's bad. But I signed up for auditions for the Wind Ensemble (which I won't get into probably XP) and if I don't get into that (which I won't) I think I'll be placed into the symphony orchestra if I'm good enough.
ANYWAY X_X Went to a campus living session, then on a campus tour, and since Nicole was in group C too that worked rather well :x We skipped "sex and sensibility" because we didn't really give two shits XP and went to UMass online instead to find out about the ethernet stuff, which was more useful I think ^^; I mean s&s would have probably been like the past FOUR QUARTERS OF HEALTH I TOOK. No more, thanks o_o I'm not an idiot and that's that. After that I went to dinner (with Nicole :P) and we talked for a few hours (because we went really early. NO LINE! :D) and then went to the MARCHING BAND! XD thing. But I can't do marching band ;-; so maybe I'll do concert band second semester. Then we split up because Central was her first choice and Orchard Hill was mine ^^; and met back up at the Northeast residential hall thingy for that meeting. Um... then we walked around campus for about half an hour and then rested at our dorms for another half hour, and then met up at her room to meet with the people doing the night tour, which only 30 people could go on max. 19 people went :P so we got ice cream~ XD and talked to... Kate??? and a guy whose name I don't know that I ever learned :X
Then after that we went back to our residence hall and I was going to go to sleep and ended up reading some of those papers they gave us during the day. Then my roommate came back so I talked to her until probably 12:45 and fell asleep after that... and then I got early wake up, YAY XP got ready pretty quickly, and then went to go to one more thing, brush my teeth or something? Came back, roomie had thought I left so told nicole when she came looking for me that I already left :x we were gonna walk up there together. So she went to catch up to me, and I checked her room (didn't know she'd left yet) the hurried after her :X found her after like 1 minute in the dining hall, and then we went to our dean's meeting (where we found out our math results, got summer advisors, and finalized our "schedules" that aren't really but hopefully will BE our schedules :x I waited for her (the music one was longer than mine, 1 probably because she'd actually declared a major unlike me and 2 because she didn't really know what/when her classes would be, and had to arrange her others. She has 8:00 college writing. I feel very, very bad for her o_o;;;;; That's where we got our ACE surveys too. Then um... o.O I think we went to lunch and waited for our parents because we were supposed to have lunch with them. Split up to eat lunch with parents, accidentally met up again at the writing test :x I got to the writing test and the open room had only 5 more slots, they were making another room. So I figured hell why not, let's go into the writing room. Turns out one of the five seats was open and it was next to Nicole :P so I talked to her until the writing test started, did the test, walked back with her to our rooms, and then packed while she did with her parents. Got my language test results, handed in stuff, then registered for residence halls. Saw Nicole and her parents going to their car on the way back so said bye, and finished packing. Said bye to roomie :P and then waited for dad to pick me up outside.
Oh yeah and I got her email/aim at lunch so that's good too :P I feel bad for her, she was one of the ONLY out of staters we had :x there was a guy from new york, girl from florida, and somebody from alaska? She's from new jersey :P
All in all, I had a lot of fun and I'm very excited and can't wait to go XP And my schedule you guys can live with, sorry, no lj-cut XP XP XP

Japanese Lecture: 9:30 <-my earliest class. YES! :P I was going to get it at 11:15 or so too but had to change my schedule ;.;
Psychology: 11:15 <--- eee, I LOVE PSYCH! XD
Biology discussion: 2:30
Fencing: 5:30 <---!!!!! XD XD XD FOR FREE! and I don't need equipment! :D :D :D it's basics though ;.; but I need to brush up u_u;

Thursdays:
Same as tuesdays, but no biology discussion. So only two real classes that day! XD
Fridays:
Same as Mondays and Wednesdays.
I think anime club is saturdays? And I want to check out horseback riding too ^_^ and definitely the band things ^____^ that's only a tentative schedule, I don't get my real one until middle of august. If I can't get bio I won't be crushed :P I almost took the reformation history thing, but then I realized it's both semesters and... no x___x; what if I like it but don't want it allll year? I don't want the drop to be in my schedule record, so I'm just not going to take it until I hear from someone who has.
I am SO tired now, I can't wait to sleep in my own bed and eat cereal in my own house this morning ;.; I'm gonna be getting the cheapest meal plan. Know why? Because likely I'll rarely eat breakfast, seeing as how the most I was hungry for was a tiny bowl of cereal and an apple x.o;; and I won't go to every meal in the DC if I even eat. I do do the skipping meals thing, and it's not because I'm trying to lose weight or something stupid (I mean bad reason for skipping meals, not that losing weight itself is bad) it's just because I'm not always hungry ^^; I eat many small meals over the course of an entire day and just rarely ever get very hungry o.o
Okay, I wrote WAY too much that like maybe only my closest friends will read if at all because I told at least one of them almost all of it, so I really need to shut up now :P
