i hate macintosh

at the email kiosk in lederle. i really hate macs. i keep messing up on this stupid keyboard too. it sucks, like a laptop keyboard.

i was in my intro to graphics communication class for about 5 seconds. we had a photoshop exercise which I did for no reason, and i was one of the first people out. Got the next project! :) We're to make a poster / flyer / whatever for an imaginary band. Going to be really fun, maybe i'll do it tonight. right now i'm just hanging around here, chris is in stat. i will probably wait until he gets out, i still have some lunch to eat anyways. (I did grab and go.) plus i don't want to go back up the hill. even though i know if i went up now i'd be happier in the long run. maybe i should go find out what room he is in and sit outside it, because i have nothing better to do (except go up the hill which is what i am trying to AVOID doing). i almost wish i had stayed in class to start my project, but i don't have any pictures to use on my poster. maybe chris can help me with that. i need to have explicit permission to use them, or public domain, but most public domain stuff is, well, yeah. not the kind of thing i want for this poster.

we'll see.

work this morning was great. i really like it there. not very exciting work, but the people, i give them an A+. so, now i'll go waste time for half an hour, then go up the hill.

"this isn't highschool" <- hell yes to that, damn it

It's been a good day... I came back here after Chris' class got out (which gave me time to read the Collegian, yay!) and after talking to Chris for a bit, put my headphones in my computer's speaker jack and sat in here and listened to Brand New while doing my poster for my Comp Sci class. Pretty much finished, then Steph and Erin came online and we talked about the story for a while... haha well mostly other stuff but a little about the story too :P

THEN I worked on the website, posting the assignment (which isn't done) and I made all of the assignment pages so I don't have to later. Brian had come over to Chris' room and they worked on homework, then we all went to Worcester and then video game club which was a lot of fun!! :D Yay!

I'm pretty tired, going to put pjs on and whatnot and then go to bed. Going home tomorrow with Chris, yay! Be back on sunday and probably hopefully gonna do stuff with him, Steve, and Brian (his friends from Comp Sci classes) and play games.

Chris pointed out that my poster had a very indie feel to it, and then I realized, lol, that's what I'd assumed from the beginning, but a lot of people will probably be making big professional looking things... like for professional bands. But I still think my composition is really good, I don't think the "professionalism" is going to matter since obviously I think if it costs only $10 to see a show, they aren't exactly making it big. Anyway, I really liked the idea of making a poster for like an indie band :P I'll make a "professional" one too and see which one I like better I guess... but still sort of think I'll prefer the indie one. Simple and clean.

This song is amazing. How are they allowed to be this good?
