I've been reading New Spring (the prequel to the Wheel of Time series) and I'm enjoying it a lot so far. I'm excited to get back into reading the other books, since I stopped after the 8th one. The biggest problem is they seem to be coming out so slowly, and I haven't read any of the books in years :( so I barely remember what's happened to all of them [the characters].

Classes start tomorrow. I am excited on one hand, but I wish my vacation from work was a bit longer. It's been very fun not having many responsibilities, being able to just go wherever Chris and I want ^_^ School will be fun though... I think. I am looking forward to everything.

Over this year, if I find that no classes are offered at UMass that use Maya, I think I will try to pick up Maya through the UT2004 tutorials and their little free version they offer. At least I could try skinning and whatnot, since I've never done that...

I am very bored because it is tuesday. Also the soap holder thing came loose from the wall in the bathroom and took 3 tiles with it... awesome. We need to call maintenance and get that fixed. Waiting to hear from Chris, so I can ask him if that has been done. Until then I might try to just get a plastic bag and tape it over the hole, or something... I haven't been able to take a shower because it smells like mildew, which I am allergic to. BLAH!

Last night on Ventrilo (voice chat) I got to talk to a lot of people. Pretty much all my good friends from the guild are on there... I am sad to think that I will be leaving them soon. I hope that I still get the chance to talk to them, I did collect most of their AIM names last night.
