Looking for services online for my wedding is particularly difficult when I am immediately turned off by horrid websites. Scrolling marquees, flashing text, just overall bad design... these sites have them all.

But if I were to ignore the god awful websites, I wouldn't have many places to look (and I wouldn't have found the awesome ceremony/reception spot). But dude. Get better websites :(

Justices of the Peace are some of the worst offenders!

One of my friends found a JoP by thumbing through the Valley Advocate. The woman said she'd never officiated a straight wedding before, and had to be convinced to do it. :-P

me too XD I had the same problem when looking for vendors... it's like, if you can't even bother to have a decent web presence now, how does that look about how you care about your image overall? When my sister and I were looking for a place to take us out snorkeling in Hawaii we ended up with two places and picked the one with the nicer looking website because it instilled more confidence.
