Ceres
Not Ceres' normal outfit by any means (8/8 GS is far superior to 5/8 GS + 3/8 DS) but I digress ;) I'm just excited that she won her DS boots that never drop ever :D It would have been Faradome's 8/8 if he was there though, so I still felt a little bit sad.
Ceres also finally dropped her last non-epic armor piece and won the Cloak of the Shrouded Mists. Aside from the fact that it is just a DAMN SEXY cloak... it is also pretty :D This image is from when I finally sold my Cape of the Black Baron. It has served me faithfully for over a year :*(
But now onto... the serious. Aegis Uprising's future I think, is hovering in unknown territory. An event transpired recently which caused almost every member of council to /gquit. We lost Eldra (druid council), Queklain (Rogue council), Cralkan (ex-Mage council), Kendric (Warrior council). What happened? After a rather small/petty event that probably was only one of MANY small and petty events leading up to this... Musteng (our guild leader) finally exploded and forbade Takusan no Kozuchi from ever raiding with us again.
I can't say that I'm sad. Since then a LOT of things have started to come out from our members. Vahalla mentioned that in Druid chat, Crypticburn had criticized his method of healing (he used Regrowth), and he had felt offended since he felt that he knew how to play his class and he'd been a class leader before. Not much by itself... but another night in Blackwing Lair, the Stormrage Gloves had dropped. Vahalla bid on them... and Crypticburn flipped out in druid chat at how he could not BELIEVE that he would "disrespect" Viar by bidding on the gloves, because Viar had been around for so long. Viar is another TnK druid with Cryptic. Vahalla, when the Stormrage Pauldrons dropped later that night, passed to Viar, feeling very bitter about the entire situation. My boyfriend has ALWAYS gotten no end to the bitching about his spec from TnK - something that, since this "break up" between our guilds, Musteng has promised him that his spec will never come into question.
And, though I can't say I'm sad, I do worry for our future now. We are going to be set back... a lot. I don't think a guild can lose a third or more of their regular raiding team and still be able to be at the same point in end-game content that they used to be in. We lost four of our best-geared druids. We lost our main tank. Supposedly Musteng is working something out and getting a main tank that is, somehow, even better geared than Darknor was. We lost our fucking Thunderfury, which to this day many AU members cannot believe went to TnK. Our first Legendary... sigh :P
There's a lot else that I could say on this issue but... I'm sure it is unnecessary.

Alanis' second trip into the Molten Core gave her these lovely robes for 7 dkp :) Due to the guild changes we are now undergoing, my druid hitting 60, and the fact that we may be dropping MC now altogether... I am not sure she will ever get another MC epic. But I'm still excited about these :D They are very lovely, and best of all, she matches :D
She still needs two more magisters (pants and robe) and I'll be able to continue with her Tier 0.5 quest. Right now she needs ogre beads :D but I don't feel much drive to do it when I can't actually finish this line because of my lack of mage pants. (Freakin' warlock pants...) Now I am scared to run E. Strat for the mage pants since my druid hit 60, because I worry about wildheart dropping instead, and vice versa XD
Alaphrei
As I posted a couple of days ago, my night elf druid Alaphrei finally hit 60 :D She's been to West Strat twice so far and a UBRS run once, and BRD. She's ready for Jail Break (yay!) and got herself attuned to MC by lava-swimming at level 58 or 59 :)

I have been thinking of switching my lovely druid to my main :) I know I'm a good healer for one. My first west strat run, I found myself having to help the priest (who was in epics) heal the two mages (one of which was in epics) because people died if we left her to do it on her own. Last night, I healed West Strat quite well in blues and greens :D no one ever died during the AE pulls, even though the mage and two rogues were taking pretty much everything (warrior was in crazy epics but he didn't tank... we wiped a lot at other times because I simply could NOT get a heal off because I was being killed by 4 scarlets D: but never once was a wipe my fault. I even successfully kept everyone alive during a couple of bad pulls where we got a pat XD; and I think only Amathan died once, when it wasn't a wipe :D The problem with switching her to my main isss she is in blues and greens. But I do plan on talking to Musteng about this soon probably... I am very happy to bring my hunter to things we don't have on farm status, but I would really like to bring my druid to things like BWL to try to get her geared up, so that her gear is no longer an issue.

Shaeldre and Sinovia on their epic ponies :D Shaeldre now only needs 2 more Valor before she finally has her whole set. Still needs Valor chest and Valor Helm :D This run which we did after the picture was taken, I received my boots. The following run, well... I am embarrassed now to admit that her helmet currently is... Lightforge D: it dropped on the second run without our lovely pally and I as very depressed to admit that yes, it was an upgrade XD;
