Time flies.

Ever since getting a job here I've been having trouble finding time. Time for what? Time for anything, pretty much. Yesterday I got out of class at 4 and had to go back at 7... went to dinner at around 5:45 or so, only had about 20 minutes when we got back to play Donkey Kong Country with Chris, then I went to class, came back at 9, and played Donkey Kong a little more. I barely have time to do fun things if I do my homework too. (I have to admit, I skipped doing Japanese homework last night because I didn't feel like it. Sometimes I have to do something fun in order to not make myself explode from the academic stress, and one homework assignment in that class isn't the end of the world.)

Anyway, I have loads of homework between now and tuesday, all I can say is thank god for the weekend, and thank god Chris and I aren't going to go back to his house and watch the EO Smith play this weekend, because I have tons of work. Not that it would take me all weekend necessarily to do it, but time is precious o_o

Anyway, Japanese went well today, I forgot about my kanji quiz until this morning though, and of course had work. The last 15 minutes of work I studied for the quiz while sorting the papers I had photocopied for the faculty binders, since starting to put them in the binders would have been pointless (I hate being in the middle of things when I have to leave them).

So I think I did okay on the quiz, not an A but not an F either (haha, or so I think). Anyway the grade individually doesn't matter since we have tons of quizzes. So as long as I don't do this a lot, I'm fine.

After that I met Chris at Thompson, we hurried over to Worcester and quickly ate, then ran off to our respective classes. Intro to Graphics Communication is great, really loving it so far. Today we went over Intellectual Property (have a website to show Chris, must remember) and then basic elements of design. The teachers had a hilarious "need him" website, a religious site, trying to appeal to people to believe in god. It was just funny because the teenager section had like these depressed teens on it, the mom website was AMAZING, hahaha, all pink and soft and all the links were pictures of the same rose. The kids website was funny too, sooo into "LOOK A WORD CLICK BEFORE YOUR ATTENTION GOES ELSEWHERE."

Haha but before I knew it was an artistic website I (stupidly) thought it was like an anti-feminism website or something, like, promoting women getting married and stuff, since it was called "need him" and haha... I'm dumb :(

Anyway I better get working on my homework, nothing is around to distract me at the moment and video game club is tonight. At least I don't have to work until after lunch tomorrow. Maybe Wendy will let me tack another hour on too, if the faculty binders aren't done on time. Plus, I have a speaking test at 4, and if I work until 3 it's pointless to go back to the dorm but I'll have NOTHING to do between work and the speaking test. (I think this speaking test is just a normal introduction one, which = easy, so I shouldn't need to study a whole lot.)

So, work to do between now and tuesday:
Japanese essay (due tomorrow)
Japanese Listening homework (? due tomorrow?)
Study for Speaking Test (tomorrow)
Print out photoshop projects for art (due monday)
Read the 3 packets for art (due monday)
Do website for projects for Intro to Graphics Comm (due monday night @ midnight)
Read site on intellectual property (due tuesday)
BDIC Proposal paper intro and info section (due tuesday) (sort of done)
Read whole BDIC syllabus for the quiz (due tuesday)

I also have to read all of Bodega Dreams for Wednesday. I only have like the first 3 paragraphs done by now :(
